Julience

Alternative rock from Manchester. Written, played, recorded and released alone.

Julience is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Manchester, born in the south of the Netherlands and drawn here by the music he grew up on. He plays every instrument on his records and records, mixes and masters them himself. No label, no co-writers, no session players. The records are loud. Big guitars, drums that fill the room, hooks that don't apologise for being hooks. Underneath all that they are songs, most of them written on an acoustic first, and they still work stripped back. Influences run from Oasis and The Beatles to Tom Petty, Thin Lizzy and Springsteen. 2026 has been a steady run of singles: 'Time Is A Weapon' (January), 'The Road Less Travelled' (March), 'Black Sheep' (June), 'Don't Say Goodbye' (July) and 'No Man's Land' (September).
